The scope includes conversion of an existing Inpatient Psychiatric Unit into an 18 bed Intermediate Care Nursing Unit on the eleventh floor of the Founders Pavilion at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  The new unit has been designed to accommodate expansion in the future.   The patient rooms were designed implementing the HUP standards for interior architecture and materials.  As a renovation project, meeting the FGI Guidelines was a challenge.  The planning team ensured that...
