Kleinbard retained FCA to create a new workplace environment that would reflect and reinforce the company’s unique culture which is unlike a traditional law firm. The design embraces openness and transparency, while also enhancing functional requirements and providing heads down focus spaces. It also provides substantially more collaborative spaces such as breakout, conference, and staff spaces, while adding more attorney offices. The resulting design melds balances traditional law functions with a modern, progressive workplace.
A close collaboration with the client allowed FCA to deliver all of the above and more: upon entry, you are greeted by a striking black marble reception desk. Nearby are multiple seating experiences. The space features two lounges full of varied furniture groupings for staff and clients in a curated aesthetic. In addition to the larger conference rooms there are multiple smaller breakout rooms for private meetings. The space is beautiful, modern, functional, and highly efficient.
