To get the design right, extensive reviews of mock up rooms were undertaken. Getting input and feedback from staff, patient’s families and community representatives helped shape the final design, from placement of medical gases to final furniture selections. The resulting design is one that is proactive, future forward response to the ongoing changes within the healthcare industry. Patients will now have privacy, preserve confidentiality and enjoy the decreased infection rates attributable to private room accommodations.
