St. Agnes Medical Center, a part of the Trinity Health system, engaged FCA to undertake a Master Plan for their campus as well as several outpatient centers where they leased properties. The FCA team, partnered with Akol Architects, M+NLB Engineers, and Thornton Tomasetti structural engineers reviewed their strategic plan, and identified multiple Key Initiatives for the campus to accommodate their growing volumes and multiple leased properties. The 436-bed hospital has a strong reputation for its delivery of quality, compassionate care.
The hospital's growing need for emergency care, beyond the urgent care centers being developed in the community, a private room initiative, surgical capacity, and medical office space to support their growing highly clinical programs.
The FCA/Akol team developed the master plan for the short, mid and long-term development of the campus and to create a bed tower that would accommodate private rooms, expand their emergency Department and create a Medical office building that would allow complex care on campus in an outpatient setting and eliminate multiple leased properties.
